Text: Today, during aerial reconnaissance, a large group of Jama'at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM) militants was identified crossing from Mali into Mauritania, likely to compensate for losses previously sustained in Malian territory. The group reportedly consisted of up to 200 fighters, around 150 motorcycles, three pickup trucks equipped with heavy machine guns, and one pickup mounted with a ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft gun. Following the detection of the militant formation, aircraft from the Africa Corps of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out airstrikes on the encampment.
