[Korrespondent] More than half of the attacks by the Russians are concentrated near Kostyantynivka and Pokrovsk. Fighting is currently ongoing in seven locations.
Since the beginning of the day, 54 clashes between Ukrainian units and Russian invaders have taken place on the front. In most directions, enemy activity is minimal, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational update on Wednesday, April 29.
Thus, two clashes occurred in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, Okhrimivka, and Krasne Pershe five times. One clash is ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, two assaults were repelled towards the settlements of Drobysheve and Lyman Nashi.
In the Slavyansk direction, one attempt by the invaders to advance towards Rai-Oleksandrivka was stopped.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked once in the Nikiforivka area.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 13 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivano-Frankivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and Stepanivka. Three clashes are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the invaders stormed 17 times towards the settlements of Novopavlivka, Bilytske, Dorozhne and in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Novopidhorodne. One clash is still ongoing.
On the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy once advanced towards Oleksandrovgrad.
In the Hulyaipil direction, the Defense Forces repelled nine attacks in the areas of Pryluky, Olenokostyantynivka, Hulyaipil and towards Svyatopetrivka, Tsvitkiv, and Charivne. Two clashes are still ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy carried out one attack in the direction of Novoandreyevka.
In the Dnieper direction, two assaults were successfully repelled in the area of ​​the Antonivsky Bridge and Bilogruy Island.
As a reminder, 189 combat clashes took place on the front during the day on April 28. The largest number of battles was in the Pokrovsky direction – 48. The enemy army lost almost 1,200 soldiers killed and wounded.
