[Korrespondent] Over the past week, from April 20 to 26, the Russian Federation seized 31.35 sq. km of Ukrainian territory. This is slightly less than the week before last.
Last week, the Russian occupiers managed to resume their offensive in the direction of the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region, but their offensive in the Sumy region was stopped, and in Donetsk it slowed down noticeably. This is evidenced by maps from the DeepState OSINT project.
In total, over the past week, from April 20 to 26, the enemy captured 31.35 sq. km of Ukrainian territory. This is slightly less than the week before last, when the enemy managed to increase the area of ​​occupation by 35.58 sq. km.
It is noted that the enemy achieved the greatest success in the Hulyaipil direction, where at the beginning of the week it captured 12.15 sq. km in the area of ​​the village of Myrne, partly due to consolidation in the penetration area, which decreased by 5.84 sq. km. However, after the middle of the week, no enemy advance was recorded there.
Instead, since the middle of the week, the invaders have resumed their offensive and captured 9.83 sq. km in the Kupyansk direction, where they had failed to advance at all the week before last. The penetration zone there has increased by 5.1 sq. km.
It is also reported that on the fronts of the Donetsk region, the enemy captured 9.37 sq. km last week, which is one and a half times less than the week before last (14.64 sq. km). At the beginning of the week, the enemy was noticeably advancing in the Seversk direction towards Sloviansk, but in the middle of the week it was stopped, but at the end of the week a small advance was recorded towards Kostyantynivka. Throughout the week, numerous minor advances of the enemy were also recorded in the Pokrovsk direction.
The penetration area in all directions of the region increased by 7.51 sq. km. In all other directions over the past week, there were also no changes.
Thus, according to DeepState data, the total area of ​​occupation of Ukrainian territory increased by 31.35 sq. km per week, and the penetration zone - by another 12.2 sq. km.
Every day last week, the occupiers advanced an average of 4.5 sq. km, and the penetration zone grew by an average of 1.7 sq. km each day. The week before last, the occupiers advanced an average of 5.1 sq. km each day.
