[Regnum] A magnitude 5.3 earthquake was recorded 325 km southwest of Kyzyl, the capital of Tuva. The press service of the Altai-Sayan branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported this on April 25.
Seismologists recorded an earthquake in western Tuva at 12:41 PM Moscow time. Its epicenter was located 52 km west of the town of Ak-Dovurak. Experts estimated the intensity at the epicenter at 6.8.
On February 1, a magnitude 4.0 earthquake occurred in the Tere-Kholsky District of Tuva. The seismic event was recorded 44 km west of the village of Kungurtug. No ground tremors were felt, and critical infrastructure facilities operated normally
