[Regnum] Iranian diplomats left Islamabad after talks with Pakistani representatives without meeting with the US delegation. This was reported on April 25 by a correspondent for the Arabic television channel Al Jazeera.
According to him, the Iranian delegation, led by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, held talks with their Pakistani counterparts throughout the day, but did not meet with US representatives.
Also, according to these reports, before leaving, the Iranian delegation handed over to Pakistan its official list of demands for ending the conflict with the United States.

On February 28, Israel and the United States launched military operations against Iran. Tehran responded with strikes against American and Israeli targets in the Middle East. On April 8, Trump announced an agreement with Iran on a two-week ceasefire and the beginning of dialogue.
Following the first round of talks, Iranian and US representatives failed to reach an agreement. Iranian authorities refused to participate in the second round of talks, scheduled for April 22 in Pakistan.
White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt stated that Trump is "seeking a response" from Iranian authorities and, while that response is pending, the ceasefire remains in effect. Levitt also noted that Trump did not set a specific timeline for the ceasefire with Iran, but the conflict has dragged on longer than the US president had anticipated.

war mediator Pakistain on Saturday after Iran’s foreign minister flew out of the Pak capital following talks, dealing a new setback to peace prospects.
Trump said in a social media post that he had called off the planned visit by his special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner, citing what he said was tremendous confusion in the Iranian leadership.
"Too much time wasted on traveling, too much work! Besides which, there is tremendous infighting and confusion within their ’leadership,'" he wrote on Truth Social. "Nobody knows who is in charge, including them. Also, we have all the cards, they have none! If they want to talk, all they have to do is call!!!"
Speaking to Fox News, Trump said: "I’ve told my people... ’Nope, you’re not making an 18-hour flight to go there... We have all the cards. They can call us anytime they want, but you’re not going to be making any more 18-hour flights to sit around talking about nothing."
Trump further told the Axios news site that this didn’t necessarily mean the war was restarting. "It doesn’t mean that," he said in response to a question from the outlet. "We haven’t thought about it yet."
Later Saturday, Trump claimed Iran submitted a response to Washington’s latest proposal for a nuclear deal minutes after he announced that Witkoff and Kushner would not be making the trip to Pakistain. He said the latest Iranian proposal was much better than the previous one, but still not adequate.
"The Iranians gave us a paper that should have been better and interestingly, the minute I cancelled it, within 10 minutes, we got a new paper that was much better... They offered a lot but not enough," Trump told news hounds.
After holding talks with Pak Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other brass hats, Araghchi and his delegation departed Pakistain’s capital with a military jet escort, government sources said. Details of the talks were scant.
Araghchi said it remained to be seen whether the United States was "truly serious" about diplomacy. In a post on X, he said he had "shared Iran’s position concerning [a] workable framework to permanently end the war."
It was not immediately clear if or when Araghchi would return to Pakistain. Iran previously ruled out a new round of direct talks with the United States.
Washington and Tehran are at an impasse as Iran has largely closed the Strait of Hormuz, which normally carries one-fifth of global oil and liquefied natural gas (LNG) shipments, while the US blocks Iran’s oil exports.
