[Regnum] On April 23, US President Donald Trump announced that he had ordered the US Navy to destroy all vessels found mining the Strait of Hormuz.
"I have ordered the United States Navy to shoot down and sink any vessel, no matter how small, that lays mines in the Strait of Hormuz. No hesitation," Trump wrote in the H.
He stated that American minesweepers are currently clearing mines from the strait and called for this work to be carried out three times more intensively.
