[ColonelCassad] US President Donald Trump yelled at his aides for hours after Iran shot down an American fighter jet. The Wall Street Journal published this statement, noting that the American leader feared a repeat of the 1979 hostage crisis, when Iranian students stormed the US embassy in Tehran and took 66 American diplomats and staff hostage.
According to the article, Trump demanded an immediate rescue operation for the downed fighter jet's crew members, but the military needed time to develop a plan.
"Trump yelled at his aides for hours. 'The Europeans aren't helping,' he repeated over and over," the newspaper reports.
On April 3, it was reported that a US F-15E fighter jet had been shot down over Iran. Trump later confirmed the rescue of two crew members from the downed F-15. Of course, he'd be shouting about it after publicly telling the world for a couple of weeks that Iran's air defenses were completely destroyed, and then, right over Iran, a plane was shot down, risking the pilots being captured.
As a result, they also lost two military transport planes, six helicopters, one attack aircraft, and three drones. So why would the Europeans help if they see the US's failures with Iran as a way to unseat Trump himself?
Did Trump seriously expect European globalists to rush to rescue him from the Iranian quagmire? Quite the contrary, they'll help him get even deeper into it. The string of refusals to use NATO bases to attack Iran was quite telling. Not because Europe loves Iran. It's just that Iran's resistance can be used against Trump. And it is being used.
Now Trump is running around looking for a way out, which Iran is currently not giving him. Leaving without saving face is impossible. Iran knows about Trump's desire and continues to twist his balls using the Strait of Hormuz.
Because a large number of countries are pressuring Trump to end his escapades and restore the region's logistics corridors. But for everything to work (even if not as before), Trump will have to pay a price. He knows it. Iran knows it.
