Flames arose from the street as hordes of brazen participants filmed the dangerous drivers – who sped off as cops arrived.
Councilman Phil Wong (D-Queens) slammed the incident as “disgusting.”
“This kind of reckless behavior is an attack on our quality of life, and it cannot be tolerated,” he wrote in a statement.
He said three people jumped on top of the responding police car and shattered its windshield – but the culprits got away.
At least one of the drivers was issued a citation for reckless driving, and the case is under investigation, said Wong, citing information he was told by cops.
Cops responded to the incident around 1:50 a.m., about two minutes after first being notified, according to the councilman.
Wong has demanded a meeting with cops and NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch about the ongoing issue plaguing Queens communities.
“I have to question what the NYPD intel is doing. How do 100 cars come to a sleepy neighborhood like Middle Village? The chaos needs to end,” a Wong rep told The Post.
A dangerous car meetup brought violence to Malba — about nine miles away — in November.
The out-of-control mob did donuts on lawns and sped around the wealthy neighborhood in the middle of the night. At one point they set a car on fire and beat up a couple who tried to get the rowdy bunch off their property.
The NYPD did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
