[Korrespondent] The defense forces repelled eleven enemy assaults in the Konstantinivka direction. In the Pokrovka direction, the enemy launched 26 attacks.
The Russian army has attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 100 times since the beginning of the day, 26 of them in the Pokrovsky direction. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the evening of April 16.
It is noted that today the enemy carried out one missile strike using 23 missiles, carried out 56 air strikes, dropped 162 guided bombs. In addition, it engaged 6,451 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out 2,593 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops.
According to the General Staff, four combat clashes took place in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions; in addition, the enemy carried out 69 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, five of which were using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units three times in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka, Symynivka, and Starytsia. One clash is still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders successfully repelled three enemy assaults towards the settlements of Petropavlivka, Podoli, and Kurylivka.
The enemy has not carried out any active operations in the Lymansky and Slavyansky directions since the beginning of the day.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy twice attacked the positions of the Defense Forces in the areas of the settlements of Minkivka and Nykyforivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 26 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Molodetske, and Kotlyne. Two clashes are still ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, today in this direction 65 occupiers were eliminated and 21 were wounded; one enemy infantry shelter, six units of automobiles and 13 units of special equipment, one cannon were destroyed; one tank, six artillery systems, six units of automobiles and seven units of special equipment were damaged. 207 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers tried to improve their position three times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Kalynivske, Berezove, and Novooleksandrivka. The settlements of Pidhavrylivka, Velykymykhaylivka, and Pokrovske were subjected to air strikes.
In the Hulyaipil direction, nine attacks by the invaders took place in the areas of the settlements of Zaliznychne, Hulyaipil, Staroukrainka, Hulyaipilske, Olenokostyantynivka, Zarichne and Tsvitkove. One battle is ongoing. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvizhivska, Hulyaipilske, Kopany, Vasylivske, Tavriyske and Rivne.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Orikhiv direction, but carried out air strikes on the areas of the settlements of Vasynivka and Tavriyske.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy carried out three futile assault operations towards the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilogruy Island.
