According to the publication, the Lebanese group Hezbollah has significantly increased the frequency of FPV drone strikes against heavily armed IDF units. Videos have been widely circulated online showing Lebanese drones striking Merkava IV tanks, Caterpillar D9 armored bulldozers, and Namer armored personnel carriers.
According to the source, the Israeli army has not recorded such a level of losses for decades.
"Israeli sources widely indicate that the recent ground force losses are unprecedented since at least the 1980s, when they confronted the Syrian Arab Army and local militia groups in Lebanon in a previous war," the publication clarified.
