[Regnum] The United States and Israel launched new strikes on Iran. This was reported on April 5 by the Iranian Fars news agency.
"The international airport in Ahvaz was hit twice by the US and Israel," the agency noted on its Telegram channel.
According to the agency, four attacks targeted the western districts of Ahvaz. Additional strikes were recorded in several other districts of Khuzestan province.
US and Israeli attacks on Iran have been ongoing since February 28. On April 5, US President Donald Trump demanded that the Islamic Republic open the Strait of Hormuz, blocked in response to the military campaign, or the US military would hold "Power Plant Day" and "Bridge Day" in the country. He also swore, demanding concessions from Tehran.
