[RIA] Donald Trump, through Vice President J.D. Vance, sent Iran an ultimatum outlining the terms of the deal, according to the American news agency Bloomberg .
"President Donald Trump is laying the groundwork for an exit from the Iran war by sending Vice President J.D. Vance an ultimatum to Tehran : either a deal or attacks on key infrastructure," the article says.
According to the publication's source, the message conveyed through Vance states that Trump is losing patience and that the threat to strategic assets will mount until the Iranians begin negotiations.
"He (Vance - Ed.) also said that Trump is open to a ceasefire if certain US demands are met," the agency writes.
The White House previously announced that the American leader would address the nation on the situation in Iran at 9:00 PM on Wednesday (4:00 AM Moscow time on Thursday). According to Politico, he will declare the war with the Islamic Republic over and explain his plan to act if ceasefire negotiations reach a deadlock.
The day before yesterday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told the Qatari television channel Al Jazeera that Iran does not accept a ceasefire and demands an end to wars throughout the region.
US President Donald Trump declined to say Tuesday whether he plans to send his Iran negotiating team, including Vice President J.D. Vance and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, to Pakistan or another country.
