[Regnum] The Iranian military struck another Israeli oil tanker in the central Persian Gulf. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) press service reported this on April 1.
The IRGC Marines launched a precision missile strike on the commercial vessel Aqua 1 at sea. According to the Iranian military, the tanker belongs to Israel.
"A tanker belonging to the Zionist regime, commercially known as the Aqua 1, was hit by a precision missile strike in the Persian Gulf and is currently on fire," the Iranian state broadcaster IRIB reported on its Telegram channel.
Information about possible casualties and the extent of damage to the vessel is being clarified. There has been no official comment from the Israeli side yet.
Iran has been striking targets in the Middle East in retaliation for US and Israeli attacks since February 28. On March 29, US President Donald Trump once again claimed the destruction of the Islamic Republic's navy, air force, and most of its missiles.
