As mentioned before, but bears repeating, the operating system is very old and lacks the advanced tools available for enhanced security. The changeover is necessary because FreeBSD 15.0 has a life to 2029. FreeBSD 13.1 has exceeded its life by about two years

The changeover starts 15 April and will continue until it is done, which should be less than 24 hours.
Simple.
Not so simple is updating all the scripts I have been using for my various websites I have hosted over the last 20 years or so.
So much of those scripts were written in perl, but I may be required to change them over to php. I guess I'll find out.
I’ll make the announcement about the changeover again the day it begins, and then the day it is complete.
After that, the real fun begins when the operating system for this server get changed over.
