🇮🇷 Iran built underground missile cities near the Strait of Hormuz. The B-1B is the best tool America has to crack them. So here’s the problem.
Iran’s most critical facilities are buried 1,500 feet deep in solid granite with a natural compressive strength of 25,000 to 40,000 PSI. Against that rock, the world’s most advanced bunker buster is mathematically capped at a penetration depth of just 20 to 30 feet.
Physics dictates the underground facilities remain functionally immune.  Military engineers call the 1,400-foot gap between the bomb’s maximum reach and the facility ceiling the dead zone.
