"Given the importance of the situation, the first very fast model has been presented. As expected, it shows a borderline situation. According to the baseline scenario, the plasma cloud will brush the planet at its edge on the night of April 1st. After this, Earth will remain within solar matter for two to three days," the scientists said in a statement on their Telegram channel.
Experts point out that the ejection's trajectory could change: a slight leftward deviation would result in the material passing by, while a rightward deviation would result in it being struck by the dense central part of the cloud. The laboratory emphasized that the model is preliminary and will be refined as new data becomes available.
