[Korrespondent] The Russian army is most actively trying to advance in the Pokrovsk direction. There, Ukrainian units have already repelled more than 40 assaults.
Since the beginning of the day and as of 4:00 p.m., the Russian occupation army has carried out 143 attacks, which is more than twice the number of the previous day. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an operational summary on Saturday, March 28.
Thus, four clashes were recorded in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy has attempted to improve its position five times in the areas of Staritsa, Prylipka, Vovchansk, Vovchanskiye Khutory, and Chuhunivka. One attack is ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out six assaults in the areas of Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled three attempts by the invaders to advance towards the settlements of Novoselivka, Stavky, and Drobysheve. One attack is ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, the occupiers twice tried to advance towards Zakitne and Rai-Oleksandrivka. One assault operation is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers tried to advance three times towards Nykyforivka, Kucherovy Yar, and Predtechyny.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 23 attacks near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Sofiivka, Kleban-Byk, Ivano-Pillya, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Berestok, Yablunivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the invaders tried to advance 46 times in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Novye Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Liman, Myrnograd, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Molodetske, Dachne, Filiya. Three attacks are ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked 16 times in the direction of Ivanivka, Zeleny Gay, Oleksandrograd, Andriivka-Klevtsovoye, Sichneve, Sosnivka, Verbovye, and Zlagoda. Three assaults are ongoing.
In the Hulyaipil direction, 27 attacks took place in the areas of Dobropillya, Zaliznychny, Girky, Hulyaipillya, Varvarivka, Olenokostyantynivka, Hulyaipilsky, and Myrny. Four enemy assault operations are ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy is conducting 10 assaults in the areas of Malaya Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Malye Shcherbaky, and Stepovoye.
In the Dnieper direction, the invaders twice tried to attack in the area of ​​the Antoniv Bridge.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian army has liberated 470 sq. km of territory in the south of the country since the start of counter-insurgency operations this year. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky.
