[Regnum] Yemen's Ansar Allah (Houthi) movement announced its readiness to engage in military conflict on Iran's side unless one of three conditions is met. The statement was made on March 27 by Yahya Saria, the official spokesman for the rebel armed forces.
"We are prepared to engage in direct combat in any of the following cases: the joining of third-party military alliances on the side of Israel and the United States, attacks on Iran or another Muslim country from the Red Sea, and an escalation in the confrontation with the Islamic Republic and members of the Axis of Resistance," Saria emphasized in his video address.

On March 22, The Wall Street Journal reported that the US and Israel fear the Yemeni Houthis will be drawn into the conflict on Iran's side. A senior Houthi official, Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, previously stated that the Houthis are on full combat alert. He stated that Yemen's full-scale involvement in the conflict is only a matter of time.
