[Regnum] Cruise missiles and drones attacked infrastructure at the Mubarak Al-Kabir port in Kuwait, the KUNA news agency reported on March 27, citing the Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works.
According to these reports, the port suffered material damage. There were no casualties as a result of the attack.
The Mubarak al-Kabir port is linked to China's Belt and Road Initiative and is used to ship goods to China, while the US also uses it to provide logistics for its troops.
Earlier that day, the Kuwait Ports Authority reported a drone attack on the port of Al-Shuwaikh, located in the capital. The authority also reported property damage. A massive fire broke out at the port. No injuries were reported.
