[Korrespondent] Two-thirds of all Russian attacks are recorded in the areas of the cities of Konstantinovka, Pokrovsk, and Gulyaipole.
Since the beginning of the day, 59 battles between the Ukrainian army and the Russian invaders have taken place on the front. At the same time, there is currently a lull in six directions, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in an operational update on Wednesday, March 26.
Thus, in the Kupyansk direction, the enemy once tried to improve its position in the Novoosinovoye area.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled seven attacks in the areas of the settlements of Nadiya, Tverdokhlibovo, Drobyshevo, and Lyman.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 18 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Berestok, Stepanivka, and Sofiivka. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers tried to advance 16 times in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Novopavlivka. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy has advanced six times in the areas of Oleksandrovgrad, Vyshneve, and Krasnohirske. One clash is currently ongoing.
In the Hulyaipil direction, 11 attacks were successfully repelled in the areas of Hulyaipil, Zaliznychny, Myrne, and Svyatopetrivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked in the areas of Tokmachka, Stepovoye, and Shcherbaky.
No enemy attacks have yet been recorded in the North-Slobozhansky, Kursk, South-Slobozhansky, Slavyansky, Kramatorsk, and Dnieper directions.
As a reminder, last week the Russians tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops in several strategic directions at once. This was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrsky.
It also became known that the Armed Forces of Ukraine thwarted a large-scale offensive by the Russian army near Liman. This was the largest breakthrough attempt since the beginning of hostilities on this section of the front.
