[Korrespondent] Active attempts by Russian troops to change the configuration of forces and prepare offensives on a number of sections of the front are being recorded.
Russian troops are increasing the pace of regrouping and preparing for new offensive operations in several directions, said Viktor Tregubov, spokesman for the Joint Forces Group, Ukrinform reports on Sunday, March 22.
According to him, at the moment, active attempts by the enemy to change the configuration of forces and prepare offensives on a number of sections of the front are being recorded.
"Currently, there are active attempts by the Russians to regroup, to prepare offensives on a number of our outposts, such as Velikoburlutsky, Kupyansky, unofficial Borivsky and a number of others," Tregubov noted.
Although the overall intensity of hostilities has not increased critically, in some areas, especially in the Sumy region, there is increased activity of Russian units. The spokesman emphasized that the occupiers are trying to restore their offensive potential and may become more active in the near future.
Tregubov also outlined the key operational tasks of the Russian troops in the zone of escalation - establishing control over the Lyman direction and creating the so-called "zone of control" along the Ukrainian state border.
Recall, earlier the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned that the Russian troops were preparing a new large-scale offensive - on Kostyantynivka, Donetsk region.
