Text: Armed bandits attack immigration officers, abduct one in Niger By Zagazola Makama Armed bandits on motorcycles from the Republic of Benin axis attacked immigration officers at Baliavillage, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger on Tuesday morning. Sources said the bandits, heading towards Babana Market, intercepted the officers at an immigration checkpoint around 10:30 a.m. During the attack, the assailants disarmed the officers, carted away two AK-47 rifles, each loaded with 30 rounds of ammunition, and abducted Umar Yusuf, one of the officers.
