| Pakistan bombed Kabul arms depot, secondaries get nearby 1000-bed drug rehab hospital, dozens toes up |

In continuation of Pakistani military attacks on Afghan soil, its recent bombardment reportedly targeted a 1,000-bed drug addiction rehabilitation hospital in Kabul, causing dozens of civilian casualties among vulnerable patients and medical staff. Medical facilities are protected under the Geneva Conventions, and targeting them may constitute a war crime under international humanitarian law. A rehabilitation center treating civilians cannot be considered a military target. The international community should take this seriously. An independent investigation and accountability are essential to uphold international law and protect civilians. The building’s entire structure is still intact. If it had been bombed with JDAM/Bomb, it would’ve been levelled. It probably caught fire due to the secondary explosions from a nearby arms depot. Unfortunate this happened and even more unfortunate someone placed a rehab next to a ordinance dump.
