[Real News] President Donald Trump said Wednesday that suspected Iranian sleeper cells may have entered the United States during former President Joe Biden’s administration due to what he called weak border enforcement policies.
Speaking with reporters, Trump said his administration is monitoring individuals who crossed into the country during the previous administration and may be connected to potential threats.

"We have eyes on a number of people," Trump said. "A lot of people came in through Biden with his stupid open border. But we know where most of them are. We’ve got our eye on all of them."
The comments came after Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy asked the president about a security alert sent to law enforcement agencies across the country.
According to reports, federal authorities warned that an encrypted message believed to have originated in Iran appeared shortly after the launch of Operation Epic Fury and may have been intended to activate sleeper cells already operating inside the United States and other countries. |
