| A-10 Thunderbolt II close-air-support aircraft are actively involved in Iran |

Text: As part of Operation “Epic Fury,” the U.S. Air Force’s legendary A-10 Thunderbolt II close-air-support aircraft are actively involved in the campaign. They are currently targeting positions of the Iran-backed Shiite militia “Popular Mobilization Forces” in Iraq. 🔹 Analysts suggest that in the coming weeks, as a potential ground phase of operations approaches near Iran’s western coastline, the A-10s could see even heavier involvement, using their famous GAU-8 30 mm cannon to finish off ground targets belonging to the Iranian regime’s forces. |
