[Korrespondent] The Russians are most active in the Kostyantynivka area, where units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already repelled almost 20 assaults.
Since the beginning of the day, 66 battles between the Ukrainian army and Russian aggressors have taken place at the front. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an operational update on Friday, March 13.
Thus, the enemy attacked three times in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy once tried to improve its position in the Novoplatonivka area.
In the Lyman direction, our soldiers repelled three attempts by the invaders to advance towards Drobyshevy and Lyman. One attack is ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, the invaders tried to attack three times in the direction of Platonovka and Zakitne. One assault is still ongoing.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 21 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivano-Pol', Illinivka, Mykolaivka, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka. Two battles are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the invaders tried to advance 16 times in the areas of the settlements of Toretske, Zatyshok, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, and Muravka. Two clashes have not yet been completed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy advanced five times towards Oleksandrivkagrad, Andriivka, Klevtsovoye, Vyshneveye, and Kalynivske.
In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 13 attacks in the areas of Hulyaipil, Zaliznychny, Myrny, Olenokostyantynivka, and Varvarivka. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vozdvizhivka, Lyubytsky, Kopany, Mykylsky, Shyroky, Novoselivka, and Charivny. One clash is ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked in the direction of Stepnohirsk.
The Russians have not yet attacked in the South Slobozhansk, Kramatorsk, and Dnieper directions.
We would like to remind you that the Ukrainian army is conducting active offensive operations on certain sections of the front in the Donetsk region. This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrsky.
Also, the other day, the General Staff announced that almost the entire territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region has been cleared of Russians.
