[Regnum] The Izhmorsky District Court of the Kemerovo Region has remanded in custody a local resident accused of sexually assaulting his stepdaughter. This was reported by the joint press center of the Kuzbass courts.
The investigation revealed that between 2017 and 2026, the accused repeatedly committed unlawful acts against a minor girl. The man was arrested on March 10.
"The court granted the investigator's motion and ordered the accused to be remanded in custody," the statement said.
The man is accused of violent sexual acts and rape committed against a person under the age of fourteen.
According to investigators, when the girl was seven years old, the man initially simply touched her, but was soon sentenced for illegal logging. Upon his release, he got the teenage girl drunk and raped her, and then repeatedly raped her until his arrest.
