[Regnum] Security forces have detained a Kyiv regime agent who was planning to blow up Russian military aircraft. This was reported on March 11 by the Public Relations Center (PRC) of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).
According to the agency, a 35-year-old resident of the Vladimir region contacted an agent of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) via instant messaging. On instructions from his Ukrainian handler, the man was preparing drone attacks against military aircraft. The attacker received all the necessary equipment for the attack—drones, explosives, and explosive devices—from an SBU officer, who arranged for their delivery to the Moscow and Kaluga regions.
The suspect took the equipment from the agreed-upon location and assembled the explosive device in his apartment. To scout the area, the suspect made repeated trips to airfields located in the Vladimir and Ivanovo regions, as well as in Moscow. FSB officers detained the suspect while preparing a sabotage and terrorist attack in the Ivanovo region.
During the search, FPV drones, accessories, antennas, portable video cameras, explosives, explosive devices, a laptop, and communications equipment were found and seized from his possession. A criminal case has been opened against the detainee under four articles of the Russian Criminal Code, including treason, participation in a subversive group, and illegal possession of weapons and explosives.
