Text: Somali National Army has entered the town of Hawadleey in the Middle Shabelle Region earlier today after the area remained under the control of Al‑Shabaab for about a year. The militant group seized the town from African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM) last year after opening the waters of the nearby Shabelle River, which weakened defensive positions in the area.
