Text: Air component neutralises terrorists during attack on goniri military base in Yobe By Zagazola Makama The Air Component of Operation Hadin Kai has neutralised several terrorists during a coordinated air response to an attack on troops of the 120 Battalion under Sector 2 in Goniri, Yobe State. Sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident occurred at about 0015 hours on Monday, when insurgents attempted to overrun the military location. According to the sources, the terrorists infiltrated the Goniri position and engaged troops in a fierce battle after they breach the defensive perimeter. |
