[Regnum] Seismologists recorded a magnitude 5.8 earthquake off the coast of Kamchatka. This was reported on March 8 by the regional branch of the Federal Research Center "Unified Geophysical Service" of the Russian Academy of Sciences (FRC UGS RAS).
The earthquake's epicenter was located 235 km southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The tremors originated at a depth of 41 km.
There were no reports of possible casualties or damage to infrastructure.
