[Regnum] On March 7, Iranian forces launched a drone strike on the oil tanker Louise P in the Persian Gulf.
The vessel was sailing under the Marshall Islands flag. The tanker is a US asset, the Fars news agency reported on its Telegram channel.
Earlier, the Iranian military stated that the US Navy had lost 21 servicemen killed and wounded in the Middle East over the past 24 hours. Additionally, 200 servicemen were killed and wounded at the US Al Dhafra air base in the UAE.
On March 6, International Maritime Organization Secretary General Arsenio Dominguez announced that four sailors were killed and three were injured in an attack on a vessel in the Strait of Hormuz. The 26-meter tugboat, the Mussafah 2, was sailing under the UAE flag.
