[Korrespondent] Minimal activity of the occupiers is recorded in most directions. Three clashes are currently ongoing in the Pokrovsky direction.
Since the beginning of the day, 50 battles between the Ukrainian army and the Russian invaders have taken place at the front. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an operational update on Tuesday, February 24.
Thus, in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out five assaults.
In the South Slobozan direction, the enemy attacked twice in the direction of Vilcha.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Russians tried to advance twice in the Glushkivka area.
In the Lymansky direction, our soldiers repelled three attempts by the invaders to advance towards Shyykivka, Drobyshevye, and Stavky. One battle is ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, the occupiers tried to advance towards Rai-Oleksandrivka, Yampol, and Dronivka. Two of the three attacks are ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the aggressor attacked once.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders carried out 10 offensive actions near Kostyantynivka, Berestok, Pleshchiivka, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the occupiers attacked 13 times in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, and Filiya. Three clashes are ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy twice advanced towards Ternovo and Novy Zaporizhzhia.
In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 11 attacks in the Hulyaipil area and towards Zaliznychny and Zahirny. Three clashes are ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the invaders attacked three times in the areas of Stepovoye, Stepnohirsk, and Plavni.
As a reminder, Russia lost over 900 soldiers killed and wounded in the 24 hours of February 23. The total number of Russian casualties is approaching 1.3 million since the start of the Great War.
