[Regnum] Tu-95MS strategic bombers completed a 14-hour flight over the neutral waters of the Bering Sea with in-flight refueling. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported this on February 20.

"Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers of the Russian Aerospace Forces' Long-Range Aviation carried out a scheduled flight over the neutral waters of the Bering Sea. The flight lasted over 14 hours. Fighter escort was provided by crews of Su-35S and Su-30SM aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces," the statement reads.
During the flight, the aircraft underwent in-flight refueling. At certain points along the route, the flight was escorted by foreign fighter jets.
It is noted that long-range aviation crews regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, North Atlantic, Pacific Ocean, Baltic, and Black Seas. All flights are conducted in strict compliance with international airspace regulations.
