| [Newsweek] Western analysts have said Ukraine has regained ground around the southeastern city of Zaporizhzhia in recent days, likely taking advantage of Russian troops losing access to Starlink. Starlink, run by tech billionaire Elon Musk's SpaceX firm, provides high-speed internet for soldiers on the battlefield, which is crucial for communications. Musk said at the start of February that he had restricted "unauthorized use" of the satellite terminals by Russian forces, a move quickly praised by Ukrainian officials as showing "real results." Russia's community of influential military bloggers have reported disruption to Russian operations in Ukraine since the new measures came into effect. |
