[Regnum] A re-examination of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain's death has shown that he did not commit suicide. This was reported by the British publication Daily Mail, citing independent researchers.
According to the generally accepted version of the singer's death, he committed suicide in his Seattle home in 1994. Large quantities of illegal substances were found in his blood, which, according to forensic experts, were the cause of his suicide. His death was caused by a shot from a 20-gauge Remington shotgun.
However, recently, an unofficial team of forensic experts decided to take a fresh look at Cobain's autopsy results and crime scene materials. They brought in gunshot trauma and overdose specialist Brian Burnett, who soon concluded that the musician's death was not suicide. Specifically, the team presented at least ten pieces of evidence suggesting Cobain was, in fact, murdered. One of these was organ damage related to oxygen deprivation, which does not occur in the instantaneous death of a gunshot.
The new version is that Cobain was attacked by one or more assailants who injected him with a large dose of heroin to incapacitate him, and then one of them shot him in the head, put the gun in his hands, and left a fake suicide note.
