| Sudanese army says it destroyed RSF drones and air defence systems |

| [SudanTribune] The Sudanese army on Tuesday said it had destroyed drones and air defence systems belonging to the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), amid allegations of foreign involvement in the ongoing conflict. The United Arab Emirates has faced accusations of providing drones to the RSF, which have been used to target civilian and military sites within areas controlled by the military. Media reports had previously indicated that the RSF had installed advanced air defence systems at Nyala airport and around the city of El Fasher before their fall. These systems were also deployed across large parts of the Kordofan region, where they contributed to the downing of several Sudanese army aircraft. More at the link |
