[Regnum] Naval infantry medics spent three days working to evacuate a wounded comrade under fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces (Ukrainian Armed Forces) from the front lines. This was reported on February 5 by a medic with the BARS-22 unit of the 55th Guards Naval Infantry Division of the Center Group of Forces, call sign Kasper.
"Three days later, they broke in, quickly packed him up, examined him, inspected him, everything as required. They pulled him out," the soldier told TASS.
He noted that his colleague had to be carried back on a stretcher 12 km. The journey took 12 hours.
“This is a clear example of how we don’t abandon our own,” Kasper concluded.
Earlier, on February 4, RT reported that a squad leader with the flamethrower platoon of the 40th Separate Guards Naval Infantry Brigade of the Pacific Fleet, call sign Vyklyuchatel, saved a wounded comrade during an assault on Ukrainian military positions using an ordinary mat. The injured soldier was carried to the rear on the mat, where he received medical treatment.
