In January, Russian troops occupied 245 sq. km of Ukrainian territory. This is almost half the amount compared to November and December, when the pace of advance was much higher. This was reported by DeepState analysts on Sunday, February 1.
"An unexpected fact was the percentage drop in assault activity - only 4% less than in December, although most military personnel say that January is still relatively less intense than last month," the report noted.
Analysts said that 33% of all assaults fell on the Pokrovsky section. Gulyaipilsky came in second place, where 21% of all attacks were carried out, the increase in assaults increased by 1.75 times. They are immediately followed by the Kostyantynivsky (12%), Lymansky (8%) and Oleksandrivsky (8%) directions.
