Text: ⚡️Regime and allied militias fully retake all strategic locations in East and West Telemt (📍North Gonder Zone, Amhara Region, Ethiopia) by January 31st afternoon, reclaiming Shintama Mountain, Maybere, Minchara, and Maygimere from TPLF. 🔵 On January 30th, a six-hour battle erupted between ENDF and TPLF forces in Minchara and Maybere Kebeles (East Telemt). During the fighting, TPLF forces advanced and temporarily seized a strategic mountain despite repeated drone reconnaissance in the area. 🔴 During their advance in Minchara, TPLF forces executed four unarmed farmers, accusing them of refusing to assist in evacuating wounded TPLF fighters. 🔵 Fighting in Degebray Kebele continued for five consecutive days, extending into January 31st. During this period, TPLF forces reportedly captured a significant number of ENDF personnel and consolidated control over Shintama Mountain, a key high-ground position. More at read at the link |
