While Iran has said it is open to negotiations, the country’s top military commander Amir Hatami warned on Saturday that its nuclear technology "cannot be eliminated" and threatened US, regional and Israeli security if the US launched strikes.
The US has tens of thousands of troops stationed in the Middle East, including in the Kurdistan Region. The US deployed a massive fleet of destroyers and fighter jets toward Iran last week as Trump repeatedly warned of US military action against the Iranian regime.

MULTIPLE EXPLOSIONS ACROSS IRAN - IRGC IN FULL PANIC MODE At 11:00 a.m. ET: Mr. Tousi says IRGC buildings kaboomed, probably drones or preset bombs, as it doesn’t look like missiles. First report was from Bandar Abba, others from Ahvaz, Tehran, Qom, something I couldn’t quite understand at around the 10 minute mark — sounded like Kerridge and ParenCity which can’t possibly be right. Head of Navy targetted for assassination, but missed. All Big Turbans live in one apartment block.

[AnNahar] An explosion took place on Saturday at a building in the Iranian city of Bandar Abbas on the Gulf coast, state media reported, though the cause of the blast was as yet unknown.
State television said the explosion occurred at an eight-storey building, "destroying two floors, several vehicles, and shops" in the area of Moallem Boulevard in the city.
Rescue and firefighting teams were on site to provide assistance, it added.
