Text: Heavy clashes erupt in Sudan’s Blue Nile region Fighting intensified over the weekend in Blue Nile State, as clashes broke out between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces near the border with South Sudan. The army’s 4th Infantry Division in Damazin said it had retaken the Al-Silik area west of the Blue Nile, ending RSF presence there after heavy fighting. More at the link |
