Text: Khyber Update: Targeted Counter-Terrorism Operation On the evening of 30 January, a successful counter-terrorism operation was carried out in the Madanak hilltop area. Acting on intelligence, security forces targeted a concealed hideout of unidentified Kharji militants. As a result of the operation, five to six Fitna al khwarij militants were neutralized. Reports indicate that there may be additional injuries and fatalities among the militants. Clearance and assessment of the area are ongoing.
