| Sudanese warplanes and long range drones carried air strikes between Omdurman and El Obeid |

Text: SUDAN — A squadron of Sudanese Armed Forces warplanes and long range drones has reportedly carried out a series of intensive air strikes across areas stretching from west of Omdurman to the city of El Obeid. The reports described the operation as unusually large in scale and precision, saying it was closely monitored by senior military leadership. According to those accounts, several military vehicles belonging to the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, commonly known as the Janjaweed, were destroyed in Al Hamra, Umm Sayala, Rahid Al Nuba, and in areas around the town of Bara.
