The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information regarding the Russian invasion as of 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17.
It is reported that a total of 117 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of this day.
The Russian invaders carried out 66 air strikes, dropping 163 guided bombs. In addition, they used 3,585 kamikaze drones to strike and carried out 2,857 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements.
In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out two air strikes, dropping eight guided bombs, and carried out 64 attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.
Today, the enemy attacked eight times in the South Slobozhansk direction in the area of ​​Vovchanskiye Khutory, Vovchansk, Prylipka, and towards Kruhly and Chuhunivka. Four clashes are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy launched six attacks in the direction of Petropavlivka and Kurylivka. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled seven assault actions in the areas of Myrne, Zarechne and towards the settlements of Novoserhiivka, Stavky, Drobysheve, and Lyman.
In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy attacked once in the area of ​​Svyato-Pokrovsky.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Kramatorsk direction.
There were 14 clashes in the Kostyantynivka direction today. The enemy tried to storm the positions of Ukrainian units near the settlements of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar and towards Ivano-Pol, Torske, Illinivka and Sofiivka, two clashes remain unfinished.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five attacks by the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Vyshneve, Zlagoda, Zeleny Gay, and Sosnivka. Another clash is ongoing. Dibrova was hit by an airstrike.
In the Hulyaipil direction, 19 clashes took place in the areas of the settlements of Solodke, Hulyaipole, Dorozhnyanka and towards Dobropillya, Varvarivka and Zelenye. Rizdvyanka, Zelena Dibrova, Dolynka and Zaliznychne were under enemy airstrikes.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy once tried to break through our defenses in the Primorske area. Enemy aircraft carried out airstrikes on Odarivka and Zhovta Krucha.
No enemy offensive actions have been recorded in the Dnieper direction at this time.
