[Korrespondent] The enemy army is most active in the Pokrovsk area, where units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already repelled more than 20 assaults.
Since the beginning of the day, 74 combat clashes between Ukrainian troops and Russian occupiers have been recorded on the front. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in an operational summary on Thursday, January 15.
Thus, in the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, our soldiers repelled one attack by the invaders.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, five battles took place in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Prylipka, Tykhe and in the directions of the settlements of Izbitske, Krugle. Currently, one battle is ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy twice advanced towards Pishchany and Kurylivka, where they were repulsed.
Five clashes took place in the Lyman direction. The enemy attacked in the area of ​​the settlements of Zarichne, Novoselivka and towards the settlements of Lyman, Stavky. One battle is ongoing.
On the Slavic direction, one battle took place in the area of ​​Siversk.
In the Kramatorsk direction, our defenders repelled four attacks in the areas of Vasyukivka, Fedorivka, and towards Pryvillya and Minkivka.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Ivanopillya, Rusyn Yar and towards Novopavlivka and Sofiivka. Nine assaults were repelled, four clashes are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the Russians attempted to advance 26 times in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiya, and towards the settlement of Rodynske. Four clashes are ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, five enemy attacks were stopped near Vyshneve and towards the settlements of Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, and Nove Zaporizhzhia.
Five attacks by enemy units were repelled in the Hulyaipil direction, in the areas of Solodke, Hulyaipil and towards Dobropil, Olenokostyantynivka. Four more clashes are still ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, three combat clashes took place in the Stepnohirsk and Stepovoye areas. The fighting is ongoing.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper direction.
As a reminder, Russia lost over 1,100 soldiers killed and wounded in the 24 hours of January 14. The total number of Russian casualties is approaching 1.3 million people.
