Renee Nicole Good's father-in-law says he doesn't blame ICE for her fatal shooting in Minneapolis

[Daily Mail, where America gets its news] Timmy Macklin Sr., told CNN he is a Trump supporter and was not offended by the president's characterization of the shooting but hopes the hostilities around her death will calm.

'Renee was an amazing person, she was full of life and full of joy, real gentle, a good mother,' he said.

'I just think we make bad choices, and that's the problem, there is so much chaos in the whole world today. We need to turn to God and walk in the spirit of God, and let him lead us and guide us.'
Seriously tactful — I’m impressed.
Good was married to Macklin's son, who died in 2023, and he is the grandfather of her six-year-old orphaned son.

Macklin was pushed by CNN anchor Erin Burnett for his opinion on whether Good's shooting death was justified, to which he said he 'was not blaming anybody'.

'It's a hard situation all around,' he said.

'I don't blame ICE. I don't blame (Good's wife) Rebecca. I don't blame Renee. I just wish that, you know, if we're walking in the spirit of God, I don't think she would have been there. That's the way I look at it,' he said.
