Text: Houthis Signal Discontent Against Riyadh Mohammed al-Bukhaiti, a member of the Ansar Allah (Houthi) political bureau and the de facto governor of Dhamar, renewed his criticism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, rejecting narratives that portray Riyadh as Yemen’s savior from the UAE and its local allies. Al-Bukhaiti argued that Saudi Arabia, not the UAE, is Yemen’s historical adversary, describing the Emirati role as a byproduct of Saudi leadership in the war. He said Riyadh was responsible for drawing both the UAE and Sudan into the conflict, which he blamed for Yemen’s prolonged suffering.
