Text: ALERT: Last night, armed men believed to be bandits abducted several travelers around 1 a.m. near Dawajah community in Gundale Ward, Shomgom LGA of Gombe State. Among those abducted were members of wedding convoys traveling from Bauchi to Gombe and another set from Filiya to Taraba, as well as local residents returning to their homes. Residents are now calling for urgent security intervention. More at the link |
