Text: SAD NEWS: Saturday evening, bandits abducted Alaramma Malam Sani, the ratib of the main Juma’a Mosque in Mahuta town, Dandume LGA of Katsina State. He was kidnapped while returning from a visit to his mother in Kadisau community, Faskari LGA. Today, it was confirmed that he was killed by his abductors. In view of this tragic killing, despite the existing peace agreements in both Dandume and Faskari LGAs, what does this incident reveal about the reliability of such deals, and what steps are authorities taking to review, enforce or reconsider these agreements to ensure the safety of residents?
